Hang Gang Binder

The site, as it will look after cutover

A working mockup of the five pages the accounts branch publishes when it merges to main. The rail, the tabs, the theme chips and the form flow are live — click around. All figures are invented sample data.

Faithful to the accounts branch at b330521 — markup, copy, tokens and component rules are lifted from apps/web directly. Two departures a mockup cannot avoid: the live site serves its vendored Playfair Display / DM Sans / JetBrains Mono woff2 files (this page shows the site's own fallback stacks), and the Telegram widget here is a drawn stand-in for the real iframe. Palette selection follows the site's own rule: Midnight is the default; a light-preferring system gets Daylight; a system asking for more contrast gets Contrast.

Shown ahead of the branch — issue #187: by owner direction, Sign in has left the rail (when signed out, the rail's session block is what offers the way back in), and the Theme control has moved from the rail to each page's footer — the pattern the sign-in page already carries. The branch at b330521 still shows both in the rail; #187 is the ticket that lands this.

Naming, ruled — issue #191: the owner walked three candidate schemes surface by surface and ruled the blend shown by default. The wordmark and site name are Hang Gang Binder — the binder is the gang's, and Muse's name sits on what she does, not over the door. The form page is Your page (you get a page in the shared binder — the sign-in copy already said so); the dashboard is Muse's charts, opening "Getting heavier? Muse certainly hopes so."; the tabs are On record / Weigh in; the rail note under Admin is removed outright ("seems silly to tell anyone what they may need"); Admin, Optional, Add to the binder, Received and the 404 stay as built. Three rules ride along: the door does not joke (Sign in / Sign out stay literal), the trust language does not joke (encryption, key, publish and clear copy stays plain), and the data does not joke (stat labels and units stay literal). The palette label "Parchment Daylight" is renamed "Daylight" throughout (the id already was daylight). Flip Names to "As built" to see the branch today.

The instrument de-cards — ruled on issue #178: the owner ruled the Admin page's mixed-width cards out — "all the same width. Or redesign away from cards as much as possible" — and the second branch is what's shown. Every tool (Key, Published, Membership, Result, Charts, Publish) is now a runner-headed section spanning one column: prose keeps the reading measure, the table and charts take the width, and the runner's rule is the divider, so every section is the same width by construction. The one box left is the caution — its box is a warning, not layout. Member pages keep their cards: one grammar per shell. The branch at b330521 still shows the boxes; #178 is the ticket.

Could still shift before cutover: #178's remaining member-page theme control split by owner ruling 2026-08-10 (PR #248): a floating <details> flyout on the signed-in pages, four always-visible swatch dots on the door - nothing may ever open over the Telegram widget; pass may still true up card geometry on Your page and Muse's charts; #172 adds form prefill and an ask-once 18+ confirmation; the suppression family in flight re-words some Progress copy. Everything else shown is what merges to main at step 6 of the sitting.
